Therapy at Mighty Oaks

~ Physical Therapy…exercises and activities designed to promote the development of gross motor skills (e.g. sitting up, crawling, walking), as well as the prescription and fitting of mobility aids and equipment (e.g. walkers, wheelchairs, canes).

~ Speech/language Therapy…activities which stimulate expressive and receptive communication skills, specific oral motor exercises to articulate sounds, development of augmentative communication systems (e.g. sign language, picture systems, computerized voice output).

~ Occupational Therapy, which includes fine motor skills such as cutting, drawing, writing, and coloring, as well as visual perceptual abilities, sensory processing, and skills for independent completion of activities of daily living (dressing, feeding, etc.)
